The gallery is owned by Lisbet Mogensen, an art historian, with a degree from the University of Aarhus in Denmark. She specialized in Scandinavian art and how to educate and communicate art. The last years the focus has been on Ghanaian contemporary art.
She has worked in several museums in Copenhagen, among others the National Gallery, been a teacher at the University of Copenhagen, worked as cultural consultant and been museum’s director at Skive art museum. She has studied at the Museums School at the University of Leicester. The last couples of years she has worked with contemporary art at galleries and exhibition halls in Denmark.
Lisbet Mogensen has been a frequent guest in Ghana the last 20 years, and therefor know Ghana very well.
